The 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development
At Panta, we believe sustainability goes beyond environmental impact. Sustainable development is more comprehensive and encompasses human rights, labour rights, environmental responsibility and working against corruption.
The Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations are very relevant to our strategies. They provide us with a framework in which we can allocate and align strategies for the company to survive the future sustainable landscape.
Working towards the 2030 Agenda is a tool for global understanding and world peace. Panta operates in an interconnected global society which demands greater transparency, openness and inclusivity. It is imperative to the future of our company that we ensure sustainable development as a priority.
Youth Sustainable Development Conference
In 2020, Panta partnered with the Youth Sustainable Development Conference (YSDC) to facilitate a setting that amplifies the voices of change-makers and youth in an enabling environment that helps them articulate sustainable solutions.
Today there is over 1.8 Billion youth around the world. Never before in history has there been a generation of more motivated young people, educated, and connected in their mission. Therefore, in line with SDG 4 'Quality Education' for Sustainable Development, the YSDC seeks to equip young people with the requisite knowledge and skills to address and achieve these goals by 2030.
In April 2020, the UN Association of Australia brought together UN agencies and Australian business, civil society, academia and government who were leading in building and supporting sustainable partnerships to progress the achievement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Panta Transportation showcased its SDG initiatives and lineup of emerging technologies in the Fintech and Transportation sectors with resounding support.
